Ardencaple Boys Club is proud to announce the appointment of Walter Smith, the current Rangers manager and former Scotland coach, as its Honorary Club President. Walter and his family have lived in Helensburgh for well over 20 years and both of his sons enjoyed spells with Caple in their earlier playing days. Clearly, this is a tremendous privilege for the Club to be so closely associated with one of Scottish Football's leading figures.
Under 15's training is on Mondays and Wednesdays. Mondays between 6-8 pm on the astroturf facility at the new Hemitage Academy in Helensburgh and Wednesdays between 6-7.30 pm at the brand new games hall at Lomond School.
Home games are played at Ardenconnel Field, better known locally as 'the Navy Pitch' in Rhu, the best grass park in the region. We also have access to the brand new 3rd generation astro facility at Hermitage Academy when the winter sets in.
We will compete in the 1st Division of the Glasgow & District Youth Football League at under 15's for season 2009-10, which is considered the best place for young aspiring footballers to play.
