Caple were invited to take part in the Lochgilphead Football Festival and thoroughly enjoyed the day. A slow start resiuted in a 1-0 defeat to the hosts Lochgilphead.
Caple then came up against a strong Dunoon team and were saved on a number of occasions by Calum in goal pulling off a string of superb saves while Joe, Jack and Cameron did this business at the other end to give Caple a 3-0 win.
This was followed up by a fine 5-0 win over Oban Saints with Jack getting a hat trick and Joe and Calum the other scorers.
in the last match against Saints Boys Jack scored in the first half to give Caple a 1-0 lead. Near the end it took a wicked deflection to at last beat Calum for the second time on the day and it looked like heading for a draw before Jack scored the last minute winner.
Well done boys good it was good experience to play against teams form further afield.
